We assess each child’s current functioning level and create an individualised plan to help them reach their maximum potential. Our therapies are fun, engaging, and tailored to meet their unique needs.

Our Key Services

  • Developmental Physio

    Physio 1

    Achieving milestones

Developmental physiotherapy is aimed at helping children achieve their physical milestones. This includes improving key gross motor skills (such as sitting, crawling, and walking).

Our physiotherapists use play-based activities to make therapy fun and engaging helping to promote a child’s physical development and aim at future independence.

    Unlocking potential

Dynamic Movement Intervention is a cutting-edge therapy that focuses on improving motor skills, strength, and coordination. DMI is suitable for children with motor impairments and helps them achieve greater independence.

This groundbreaking approach involves a carefully curated set of exercises and techniques that challenge and stimulate the neuromuscular system.

  • Hydrotherapy

    In pool

    Effective exercise

Hydrotherapy, or physio in water, is a fun way for children to improve their rehabilitation and exercise outcomes, with the reduced gravity and buoyancy in the pool assisting a child to do things they may not be able to do on land.

Water provides five times the resistance of air allowing more effective cardiovascular fitness improvement, and helps to strengthen both the limbs and the core simultaneously.

Treatment Frequency

Following a thorough initial assessment and discussion with you and/or your child regarding their goals, we will recommend an appropriate frequency of intervention for your child. The frequency of sessions will generally vary depending on a wide range of factors including:

Your child’s goals - Some children require and benefit from regular weekly appointments, whereas others require a light touch approach with less frequent sessions.

Other commitments - Physio often forms part of a multi-disciplinary approach to your child’s rehabilitation, so other allied health and medical appointments and commitments such as school often dictate what intervention may look like.

Please get in touch to discuss your child’s physio needs or to discuss possible appointment times and openings.

Do I need a referral?

A referral from a doctor or health professional is welcomed, but not necessary.
Tell us your child’s needs by phone or email and we can decide on the best plan for you and your child.
