Paediatric Physio Adelaide

Moving Kids Physio are dedicated Paediatric Physios - we only work with kids! We offer physio intervention targeted at helping children with physical disabilities in a variety of environments depending on the goals identified between the physiotherapist and the family.

A core focus of ours is to make all our physio sessions FUN (whilst also being effective!). Your kids put in so much effort during their physio sessions, so making the sessions fun and enjoyable whilst also working towards goals means they can look forward to sessions and enjoy them!

TREATMENT TYPES

All of our paediatric physios are trained to assess each child's current functioning level and create individualised plans to help your child reach their maximum potential. Different conditions and abilities require different approaches and different services, and we're proud to be able to offer a wide range of paediatric physio services to help your child work towards their goals, including:

Some of these options are only available on location at our Physio Clinic, but feel free to get in touch to discuss which of our services may be best suited for your child.

TREATMENT LOCATIONS

We will work with you to determine the most effective setting for you and you child as the setting can play a big part in getting the most out of our sessions. We are able to offer the following location options:

We are able to alternate locations/settings as required also. Please get in touch to discuss which setting would be the best option for your child.

TREATMENT FREQUENCY

Following a thorough initial assessment and discussion with you and/or your child regarding their goals, we will recommend an appropriate frequency of intervention for your child. The frequency of sessions will generally vary depending on a wide range of factors including:

  • Your child's goals - Some children require and benefit from regular and ongoing weekly appointments, whereas others require a light touch approach with less frequent sessions
  • Other commitments - Physio often forms part of a multi-disciplinary approach to your child’s rehabilitation, so other allied health and medical appointments and commitments such as school often dictate availability for intervention
  • Our Availability - we often have openings for certain days or locations, but this can vary depending on our current waitlist

Please get in touch to discuss your child's physio needs or to discuss possible appointment times and openings

Do I need a referral?

A referral from a doctor or health professional is welcomed, but not necessary.

Tell me your child's needs by phone or email and we can decide on the best plan for you and your child.
