Learn to Ride with Moving Kids Physio

Help your child discover the joy of riding these school holidays! Our physio-led, one-on-one sessions gently guide kids through key bike skills while building confidence, resilience and independence. With a supportive approach and a child-friendly learning space, we make every achievement feel exciting.

When

  • Block 1: January 12th- 16th 2026

  • Block 2: January 19th- 23rd 2026

5 x 45 minute sessions every day for 1 week.


Where

Robertson Street Traffic Education Park – Reynella

Safe, child-friendly bike education environments with pathways, traffic lights and road-safety play features.

What to bring

  • Bike & helmet

  • Closed-toe shoes

  • Drink bottle & sunscreen

No bike? Let us know - we can help support access where needed.

What’s included

Your child will enjoy structured, supportive sessions focusing on:

  • Balance and body awareness

  • Pedalling technique & momentum control

  • Starting, stopping & braking safely

  • Steering, cornering & obstacle awareness

  • Road safety basics & rules of shared-path use

  • Confidence building through graded success

  • Resilience, problem-solving & FUN!

Sessions are tailored individually by a paediatric physiotherapist to match your child’s ability, confidence, and developmental needs.

Who is it for?

Children of all abilities who are learning to ride or ready to build riding confidence and skills.

Ideal for:

  • First-time riders

  • Children nervous about riding

  • Kids needing extra balance support

  • Gross-motor or confidence delays

  • Neurodivergent learners (ADHD, ASD, DCD)

  • Kids wanting fun school-holiday activity with therapeutic benefit

No previous riding experience required.
